2014 marks the 10th anniversary of the Simeon Farrar brand, so to kick off the celebrations we're heading out to Japan for a couple of weeks of partying with our good friends at Johnbull.
We'll be doing events at the Johnbull stores in Harajuku (May 17th) Okayama (18th) and Osaka (20th), followed by a party at Bar Bonobo in Tokyo on May 21st. See the Johnbull website for full details.
Simeon also has an exhibition of his artwork and clothing at the Isetan department store in Tokyo from May 12th to 27th and will be at the store on May 24th and 25th. Check their website for details.
In August of this year we drove from Tokyo to Tohoku with the staff of John Bull to do a fundraising event in the town of Minamisanriku, the town worst affected by 2011's Tsunami. Richard Lonsdale from The Field Office documented this screen printing day. See his fantastic film above.
To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics we are offering this super exclusive 'Great Britain Kitten' T-Shirt and Vest. With a pierced ear and Punk Rock knuckles who could resist. They are only available though our site so get yours while stocks last.
Mr. Richard Lonsdale's only gone and done it again. Another fantastic film from our Japan trip. This one features the fundraising event we did at the Heartland bar in Roppongi Tokyo. There was a massive turnout and we sold all the beautiful Kate Mouse vests donated by Enza Costa. Hope you like it.
Our favorite film maker Richard Lonsdale has made another fantastic film for us. It captures the live screen printing event we did at Johnbull in Tokyo in April. This was also filmed by the Shop Channel and was featured in the show we did last weekend. Hope you like it.
Thanks to all your incredible generosity we raised a massive £5728.67 for the Japanese Relief Fund. We sent out over 250 Kate Mouse T-Shirts in our first appeal and then sold a whole load of beautiful vests at our Heartland event in Tokyo last month. Big thanks to Enza Costa for donating those and Donna Ida for all their help.
We had a fantastic event at Johnbull Daikanyama yesterday. Thanks to everyone who helped out and came down. We printed 110 t-shirts with a limited edition print live outside the store. Some proceeds from the sales of these will go to the Japan relief fund.
UPDATE: Thanks for all your kind donations! This project is now finished.

In celebration of Golden Week in Japan this week we're giving away some very limited edition prints from the Look-A-Likes series. Participating stores are American Rag Cie and Johnbull, both in Tokyo. So get down there and pick up your free, signed print.
Sunday's in store event at John Bull in Harajuku will be a live art event, with Simeon Farrar painting a mural on the store's upstairs balcony.
The painting will start late afternoon - and there are signed, numbered screen prints available as giveaways.
We'll be in Tokyo from the 14-30th March for the Weareurope show at The Grand Hyatt Hotel Roppongi. The show takes place on the 17th & 18th of March and we'll be doing in-store events at Journal Standard, Harajuku on the 20th and 21st, and also Johnbull on the 21st. There will be exclusive t-shirts on offer at Journal Standard and an art installation and free giveaways at Johnbull.
If you're in the neighborhood pop in and see us.
Simeon has recently completed a commission for the new Lane Crawford store in Hong Kong. Using memories of smell as the inspiration, the piece used collected bottles, hand made wax replicas and window painting to create an installation for the opening event.
Here's a small video from the Wapping Project exhibition Jerwood: Fashion Film and Fiction, featuring Simeon's work. All clothes from the exhibition are one-off commissioned pieces by London's most exciting young fashion designers and will be auctioned at 7pm, 15 November 2005.
Champagne reception hosted by Katherine Hamnett. Auction conducted by Richard Lloyd, Asociate Director, Christies.
Tickets £50 (inc VAT) directly from The Wapping Project. Telephone: 020 7680 2096
