Isetan Tokyo 2014

In 2014,, to mark the 10 year anniversary of the Simeon Farrar brand, Isetan put on an art exhibition and live painting event in it’s flagship department store in Shinjuku Tokyo. Specially created artworks were sold along with the new collection.

 

Minamisanriku Japan 2013

The town of Minamisanriku in Northern Japan was the worst hit area in the earthquake and tsunami of 2011. In 2013 the Simeon Farrar team travelled up to the area with the staff at Johnbull and put on a live screen printing event in the temporary shopping village. The exclusive t-shirts created on that day were sold in Johnbull Stores across Japan and all profits donated to the Japanese Red Cross.

 

Villa Rouge Nagoya Japan 2012

To celebrate the longstanding relationship with Villa Rouge Nagoya Simeon Farrar put on a pop up event in the flagship store in which Simeon painted a custom built shed that housed specially created paintings and prints from past collections.

 

Johnbull Daikanyama 2011

In 2011 the Simeon Farrar team staged their first ever live printing event at the Johnbull store in Daikanyama Tokyo. Filmed by The Shopping Channel Japan this event was a fundraiser for the recovery effort following the earthquake and tsunami that hit northern Japan earlier that year. Specially created t-shirts were screen printed and washed live throughout the day.

 

Heartland Tokyo 2011

In 2011, one month after the tsunami which devastated much of northern Japan, Simeon Farrar held a fundraising event at the Heartland bar in Ropongi which featured live painting and the iconic “Kate Mouse” t-shirt was sold with the Japanese Rising Sun addition with all proceeds going towards the relief effort.

 

Johnbull Store Mural 2010

In 2010 Simeon Farrar staged a live painting event in the Johnbull store in Harajuku Tokyo to coincide with the launch of the new collection.
